Job summary

Department for Business and Trade is recruiting a Behaviour Change Practitioner to deliver CBT and DBT-informed interventions across Kent in hybrid settings. The role supports risk management, safeguarding, public safety and positive outcomes, collaborating with multi-agency partners.

Qualifications

• Essential experience within risk management or safeguarding frameworks.
• Experience managing a caseload and prioritising effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication with rapport and boundaries.
• Experience delivering support face-to-face and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Assessments and Intervention Planning: conduct assessments, inductions and personalised planning.
• CBT and DBT-Informed Delivery: deliver one-to-one and group interventions.
• Behaviour Change Support: help participants recognise and change harmful behaviours with accountability.
• Case Records and Reporting: maintain case records and prepare reports and progress updates.
• Multi-Agency Working: collaborate with police, probation, prisons and safeguarding teams.
• Risk Management and Safeguarding: contribute to risk management processes and forums.
• Supervision and Reflective Practice: participate in supervision and continuous learning.
• Professional Boundaries: manage challenging behaviours while remaining calm and professional.
