Job summary

Compass Health Network seeks a Behavioral Technician (Community Living Instructor) to support adults with behavioral health needs in residential settings in Rolla, MO. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3pm–11pm, with a full-time structure.

You will help residents build life skills, monitor behavior, assist with daily living tasks, and document progress. Requires High School/GED; driver’s license; CNA/CMA experience is a plus; medication aide training may be provided.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license at the time of hire and able to obtain MO class E license by end of 60-day intro period.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors.
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
• Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs.
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities (driving is required).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.

A Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor) provides support to adults with behavioral health needs in a residential or community setting.

In this role, you'll ensure the safety, well-being, and daily success of the individuals we serve. You'll provide hands-on support with daily living skills, social engagement, behavior management, and more — all while helping create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.
