Job summary

Compass Health Network in El Dorado Springs is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Days) to support adults with behavioral health needs in residential or community settings. You will ensure safety, assist with daily living skills, behavior management, and documentation. Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday 6:45am-3:15pm, 40 hours weekly.

Internal title: Community Living Instructor. This full-time role offers hands-on care, with transportation to appointments and medication administration after Level 1

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of work experience or self-employment.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license at time of hire with ability to obtain MO class E license by end of 60‑day introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors.
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
• Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs.
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities (driving is required).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.

A Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor) provides support to adults with behavioral health needs in a residential or community setting.

In this role, you’ll ensure the safety, well-being, and daily success of the individuals we serve. You’ll provide hands‑on support with daily living skills, social engagement, behavior management, and more — all while helping create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.
