About Beaumont Children’s Center

Pediatric care clinic supporting children with special needs and their families throughout their unique life journey.

Scope of Work

The Behavior Technician reports to the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Assistant Behavior Analyst at Beaumont’s Center for Exceptional Families. Responsibilities include implementing behavior analytic interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience in childcare, working with children with special needs, mental health, or related education or coursework in Allied Health Degrees.
• Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Registered Behavior Technician, current enrollment in RBT training, or commitment to complete RBT training at Beaumont’s Autism Center and obtain certification.
• Exposure to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to model interventions for trainees and family members.
• Basic Life Support certification required within six months of start date.
