Job summary

State of Missouri seeks a Behavioral Technician to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and assist with daily living activities while maintaining safety and compassionate care.

The role requires physical stamina, lifting up to 50 lbs, and completion of training in First Aid, CPR, and Safety Care. Flexible shifts include weekends and holidays, with full-time benefits through DMH.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).
• Must be able to intervene physically to maintain safety.
• Stamina to stand and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shifts.
• Must be able to observe, record data and assist in behavior tracking.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive behavioral support as outlined in client plans.
• Assist in implementing behavior interventions and documenting observations.
• Support clients with daily living activities and health checks as needed.
• Ensure safety and professional boundaries on all shifts.
