Job summary

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare seeks Behavioral Technicians to support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center across Sussex County, NJ.

Typical schedule ranges from 5–20 hours per week with 2–4 hour evening shifts; a $300 sign-on bonus is offered for joining the Sussex County team. Training and qualifications are expected within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship)
• Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
• Must be working toward RB T Certification within 6 months of hire
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
• Must pass all state and federal background checks
• Pre-employment drug screen required
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the client
• Follow all agency protocols, procedures, and professional guidelines
• Submit visit notes promptly after each session per guidelines
• Respond to crises using de-escalation and safety strategies
• Engage clients in activities to support growth and awareness
• Attend case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings
• Work 5–20 hours per week with 2–4 hour evening shifts
