Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor) to support adults with behavioral health needs in residential or community settings.

This PRN role offers 8 hours weekly and a path to gain experience in behavioral health and social services. You will help residents build life skills, monitor behavior, provide basic care, and assist with daily living activities in a safe, structured environment.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition
• Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided)
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities (driving is required)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures
• Complete documentation accurately and on time
