Job summary

Compass Health Network in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Part Time Behavioral Technician (PRN) to support adults with behavioral health needs in residential settings. Internal title: Community Living Instructor with a PRN/As needed schedule and $19.00 per hour compensation.

In this role you will help ensure safety, well‑being, and daily success by assisting with daily living skills, social engagement, behavior management, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• At least one year of work experience.
• Valid unrestricted driver''s license at hire; ability to obtain MO class E license by 60-day intro period.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Prior CNA or CMA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors.
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
• Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs.
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities (driving is required).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
