Job summary

MyPath seeks a Behavioral Service Specialist to monitor and support clients with complex behavioral needs in our residential programs, working closely with direct support staff to implement Behavioral Support Plans and Crisis Interventions.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in human services; Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, MS Office proficiency, and a Wisconsin driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in the Human Service field with individuals who have behavioral support needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related human services field preferred.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent presentation skills and timely decision making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Wisconsin Driver’s License and maintains insurance on personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Responds urgently to behavioral events to assist staff and provide direct intervention and post-event support.
• Investigates behavioral incidents; may conduct meetings with staff, witnesses, and clients; reviews training records.
