Genesee Lake School, a MyPath Company, seeks a compassionate Therapeutic Support Specialist to develop individualized behavior support plans, train staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote growth and independence for students with emotional and developmental challenges.

You will conduct assessments, analyze data, and participate in treatment team meetings, applying trauma‑informed practices and positive behavior supports to empower students and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in behavioral/human services and at least 2 years of related work with individuals with behavioral needs.
• Experience with autism, behavior plan development and data collection preferred.
• Formal training in applied behavioral principles is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Create and implement behavior support, intervention, and crisis plans for students with behavioral needs.
• Conduct behavioral assessments to inform individualized therapeutic support plans.
• Analyze behavioral data to identify patterns and support needs.
• Review interventions and incidents daily for assigned caseload.
• Lead post‑incident debriefings with staff and students.
• Attend psychiatric appointments/reviews as needed for student support.
