Job summary

The Summit Center in New York State seeks a Behavioral Support Consultant to join our team serving children and adults with developmental and behavioral challenges. You will lead clinical support through assessments, behavior plans, and team collaboration to ensure effective interventions.

Responsibilities include data-based consultations, assessments, and reporting, while ensuring IEP mandates are met and records are maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in School Psychology or related field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide data-based behavioral consultation to classroom teams.
• Complete behavioral assessments.
• Develop and write required reports.
• Measure student progress on interim behavioral protocols and IBPs.
• Provide and oversee crisis intervention services for students.
• Ensure that IEP mandates are fulfilled.
• Maintain all records required.
• Adhere to best practices and ethical guidelines in all duties.
