Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Behavioral Specialist to work with individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities in various settings.

The role requires developing and implementing positive behavior support plans, conducting FBAs, and training staff and families. Candidates should hold a Masters degree in a relevant field or PA Behavior Specialist License, have a valid driver’s license, and pass required background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, ABA or PA Behavior Specialist License required.
• Complete state training conducting and using an FBA, and Post Test Certification or willingness to complete during application.
• Valid Driver's License, vehicle registration and auto insurance for vehicles used to provide services.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Observe participants in various settings and collaborate with family and team to implement behavior support plan.
• Complete FBAs by conducting functional assessments of participant issues.
• Train staff, participants, families and caretakers on behavior support plan implementation.
• Complete required paperwork including data collection, progress reports and annual planning materials.
