Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Behavioral Specialist to support adults with autism and developmental disabilities in Kentucky.

The role involves observing participants across settings, developing and implementing positive behavior support plans, and collaborating with families and care teams. You will conduct FBAs, train staff and families on plan implementation, and complete data collection and monthly/annual reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, ABA, or PA Behavior Specialist License.
• Complete state training conducting and using an FBA, and Post Test Certification - or willingness to complete during application process.
• Valid Driver's License, vehicle registration, and auto insurance for vehicles used to provide services.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Observe the participant in various settings; collaborate with family and team to develop and implement a positive behavioral support plan.
• Complete FBAs by conducting comprehensive functional assessments of the participant's presenting issues.
• Conduct training related to implementing behavior support plans with staff, the participant, their family, and caretakers.
• Complete required paperwork related to data collection, progress reporting, monthly/quarterly reports and development of annual planning material.
