We are looking for Behavioral Support Specialists (BSS or BSC) for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism (ID/A) to join our team in the state of Pennsylvania. We are searching for someone with experience dealing with ISPs, and with technical knowledge of the ODP behavioral support standards and interventions. The role requires excellent communication skills with families, DSPs, and supervisors, and incorporates team leadership responsibilities. The specialist will mentor DSPs and caregivers in behavioral strategies, deliver person‑centered service, respect dignity, maintain accurate documentation, adhere to ODP timelines, and be dependable, flexible, and confidential. The position also involves effective prioritization and scheduling of sessions, crisis management with swift responses to behavioral crises, a State Police check, experience implementing behavioral interventions, collecting data, performing functional behavior assessments (FBA), and strong communication and documentation skills.
