Job Summary
We are looking for Behavioral Support Specialists (BSS or BSC) for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism (ID/A) to join our team in the state of Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Experience dealing with ISPs and technical knowledge of the ODP behavioral support standards and interventions.
- Excellent communication with families, DSPs, and supervisors; team leadership including mentoring DSPs and caregivers in behavioral strategies.
- Person-centered service delivery and respect for dignity; accurate documentation and adherence to ODP timelines.
- Dependability, flexibility, and confidentiality; effective prioritization and scheduling of sessions.
- Crisis management with swift responses to behavioral crises.
Qualifications
- Minimum Master’s degree in psychology, social work, education, ABA, human services, counseling, or a related field.
- Vehicle and driver’s license required.
- State Police check.
- Experience implementing behavioral interventions and collecting data. FBA experience.
