Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience with adults with intellectual disabilities desirable.
• Valid California Driver’s License and vehicle for daily use; driving record must meet company standards.
• Willing to travel locally up to 30% of the time.
• Must meet state personnel licensing standards and complete CPR/First Aid certification.
• Commitment to a culturally integrated workplace and non-discriminatory practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct individual and group instruction to assigned participants within their abilities and goals.
• Maintain a safe, non-aversive environment and respond to crises using approved techniques.
• Collect data accurately and complete program paperwork in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with coworkers to support teamwork and communication with outside agencies.
• Supervise participant outings and ensure safety and appropriate conduct.
