Job summary

Central Valley Training Center, Inc. is seeking an Instructor I to provide direct instruction and supervision for adults with intellectual disabilities. The role emphasizes positive behavioral programs and compliance with agency policies in a structured, supportive setting.

You will implement training plans, collect data, and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality services. A valid CA driver’s license and ability to travel locally may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience with adults with intellectual disabilities desirable.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Clear and timely communication with participants and staff.
• CPR and First Aid Certification; Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct individual and group instruction to adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Maintain a safe, organized environment and promote positive behavior support.
• Document program data accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with co-workers and external agencies as needed.
• Assist with crisis situations using approved techniques.
