Job summary

Central Valley Training Center Inc. is seeking an Instructor Floater in Fresno, CA. The position supports adults with intellectual disabilities and related needs, covering rest breaks, meals, and direct services with a focus on positive behavior supports.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and CPR/First Aid certification; training in crisis intervention and behavior supports is preferred. This is a part-time, in-person role with competitive starting pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience with adults with intellectual disabilities desirable.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Positive Behavior Support, and Social Effectiveness Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide group coverage for rest breaks, meals, and directed services.
• Deliver direct instruction to participants according to abilities and goals.
• Maintain safe, supportive environment and use non-aversive behavior techniques.
• Complete program paperwork and data accurately and on time.
