Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Behavioral Aide and Instructional Assistants to support students in Chesterfield area schools for the 25-26 and 26-27 School Years. Responsibilities include assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting growth and relationship building, and providing coaching to develop decision-making skills.

Role requires crisis prevention, de-escalation training, CPR, and proven ability to interact effectively with others in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Crisis Prevention and De-Escalation Training such as MANDT/TOVA/SAFETY CARE
• CPR - in person
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; facilitating personal growth and relationship building.
• Ensure a pleasant experience for the Individuals in a quality program
• Encourage personal skill development by showing, teaching, talking, and coaching
• Provide opportunities for Individuals to learn decision‑making and problem solving skills
• Complete daily logbook process, and relay feedback to the Program Coordinator
