Job summary

The Edinburg Center in Bedford, MA seeks a Behavior Technician/Coach to join its interdisciplinary team of BCBA/LABA, Mental Health Clinicians, Therapeutic Support Specialists, Peer Specialists, and Employment Specialists. You will implement and monitor behavior support plans, work under supervision, and provide direct instruction to individuals on the Autism Spectrum.

Requirements include a BA in Psychology, ABA, or related field with relevant direct experience, or an Associates Degree plus two

Qualifications

  • BA in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or approved human service field.
  • At least one year of direct experience with families/youth with emotional/behavioral challenges or autism.
  • Associates Degree + two years direct experience in the field, or three years ABA experience.
  • Must be a team player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, model, and monitor progress of behavior support plans and skill acquisition plans based on data under supervision.
  • Collaborate with collateral team members.
  • Assist BCBA/LABA and Mental Health Clinician in training caregivers on ABA principles.

The Edinburg Center is seeking a Behavior Technician/Coach to join its exciting new team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Mental Health Clinicians, Therapeutic Support Specialists (TSS), Peer Specialists, and Employment Specialists. This is an interdisciplinary team with all of the above members, as well as consult from OT, Nursing, and Psychiatry.

What You Will Do:
  • Implement, model, and monitor progress of behavior support plan and skill acquisition plans based on data analysis under the supervision of BCBA/LABA, Mental Health Clinician
  • Collaborate with collateral team members
  • Assist BCBA/LABA, Mental Health Clinician in training caregivers and team members on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Provide direct instruction to person served on the Autism Spectrum
  • Carry out special projects as needed by supervisor
  • Comply with Mass Health, insurance, and The Edinburg Center policies and procedures
What You Will Bring:
  • (1) A BA in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or approved human service-related field, AND one (1) year of relevant direct experience working with families and youth with serious emotional and behavioral challenges or autism, OR; (2) An Associates Degree and a minimum of two (2) years relevant direct experience with families and youth with serious emotional and behavioral challenges and autism, OR; (3) At least three (3) years’ experience utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in a therapeutic setting
  • Must be a team player with excellent organizational skills and written and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are required.
  • A Valid MA driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation are required
