Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation, Rhode Island, is seeking a Behavior Specialist Assistant to provide direct support to individuals with behavioral and mental health needs within residential settings. You will help ensure safety, wellness, and meaningful daily activities while following each person's support plan.

This role involves data collection, collaboration with the Behavior Specialist and Clinical Director, and contributing to teaching procedures and crisis prevention as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with behavioral or mental health challenges.
• Ability to follow care plans and documentation.
• Willingness to work varied weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for physical, psychological and emotional health and safety of residents.
• Follow Individual Support Plan and assist with personal care and daily activities.
• Assist with cleaning, laundry, shopping, cooking and budgeting.
• Assist with development of teaching procedures and goals in collaboration with supervisors.
• Assist in data analysis and creation of graphic data presentations to measure program effectiveness.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and prevention when indicated.
• Encourage community involvement and social connections.
• Follow clinical orders and ensure medications and treatments are administered properly.
