Job description

Overview

Racker is excited to welcome applicants for a full-time Behavioral Intervention Specialist in our Residential program.

Work to develop relationships with those that live in our residential program, monitor behavior support plans, and manage the collection of relevant data for individuals participating in the agency's OPWDD funded programs. Conduct 1:1 behavior and Activities for Daily Living assessments to develop effective support strategies for staff and families, and train staff on the implementation of support plans. Primary work site will be Tioga County, NY the hours for this position will be 12p-8p Tuesday through Saturday. Possible travel to other locations as needed. Come join our Team!

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Develop and monitor support plans
  • 1:1 behavior assessments
  • Conduct sexuality assessments where necessary
  • Assess the ability of individuals to give consent for medical treatment where necessary
  • Complete documentation of assessments and support plans
  • Coach and model effective strategies for staff and families
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree from a program in a clinical or treatment field of social work or psychology, or a BCBA or LBA, or an NYS license in mental health counseling.
