Job summary

Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA seeks a Program Support Coordinator to provide administrative support for the School of Behavioral Sciences. The PSC processes applications to the BSSW and MSW programs and guides students through the admissions and gatekeeping steps.

You will maintain tracking systems, assist applicants, participate in student interviews to assess readiness, advise students, and support accreditation matters in collaboration with the Chair, Program Director, and Field

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of admin experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent interviewing skills.

Responsibilities

• Process applications to the BSSW and MSW programs and manage gatekeeping processes.
• Engage students in self-assessment to gauge fit for the program and profession.
• Develop and maintain admissions, gatekeeping, and tracking systems.
• Assist applicants and participate in student interviews to determine readiness.
• Advise students and support program through data tracking and accreditation matters.
• Collaborate with Chair, Program Director, and Director of Field Education; communicate across departments.
