The PSC assists applicants, frames readiness for professional social work, and supports accreditation-related matters while collaborating with other university departments and teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of administrative experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing applications to the BSSW and MSW programs and facilitate the gatekeeping process.
• Engage students in self-assessment to determine fit for the program and profession.
• Develop and maintain admissions, gatekeeping, and tracking systems; assist applicants; participate in student interviews.
• Advise students and support them through the program; assist the Chair, Program Director, and Director of Field Education.
