Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an internal behavioral science expert to lead the application of behavioral science within BSWH’s strategic customer experience portfolio. You will translate behavioral theory, evidence, and analytics into practical solutions that lead to improvements in engagement, health behaviors, and outcomes.

You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply behavioral design methodologies prioritizing target behaviors and barriers.

Qualifications

Doctoral Degree in Behavioral Science, Health Psychology, Public Health, Behavioral Economics, or closely related field preferred.
Experience in digital health is preferred.
Strong statistical and analytical skills.
Knowledge of Agile principles with digital/technical skills.

Responsibilities

Lead behavioral science support from discovery through evaluation for assigned initiatives.
Develop work plans and roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
Manage day-to-day activities to achieve KPIs and OKRs; delegate tasks.
Identify risks and roadblocks; provide guidance to team members.
Engage stakeholders across deliverables and functions as required.
Conduct literature reviews and triangulate findings with internal data.
Conduct advanced statistical analyses and translate results for non-scientific audiences.
Develop theories of change and link them to intervention pathways.
Identify and manage risks that affect intervention quality and adoption.
Collaborate with teams to develop behaviorally informed interventions and digital experiences.
Develop and govern internal behavioral science frameworks for scalable practice.
