  • Familiarity with rat handling, anesthesia, surgery, and animal care.
  • Ability to design studies, track data, and perform data analysis; maintain data records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of rodent-based research in the lab.
  • Perform behavioral pharmacology experiments and data analysis.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, safety, and animal colonies.
  • Prepare study protocols and coordinate with collaborators.
  • Present data in meetings and contribute to manuscript-ready results.
  • Train staff and ensure compliance with IACUC policies.
