Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a Research Assistant to support the AWARE Study network. You will recruit and screen participants, obtain informed consent, enroll them, and conduct virtual interviews using Network Canvas.

Responsibilities include coordinating HIV/STI testing per protocol, maintaining study records, ensuring Good Clinical Practice, and assisting with data entry and regulatory documents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree and experience and/or training in research preferred.
• Good organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication.
• Some knowledge of FDA, HSR, and GCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative tasks to support research team (scheduling, ordering, printing, filing).
• Assists with literature searches, QA/QC procedures, and tracks timelines.
• Assists in scheduling study visits and reimbursement of participants.
• Prepares supplies for study visits and data collection materials.
• Assists in collecting data from participants and/or medical records.
