Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a full-time Behavioral Psychotherapist in Troy, Michigan. This role involves providing evidence-based care for mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology, or a Master's in Social Work with relevant experience. Responsibilities include individual and group therapy, as well as crisis interventions where needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year supervised post Master's experience in clinical or counseling psychology.
• Minimum two years post Master's experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting for Social Work graduates.
• Required certifications: Licensed Psychologist, Limited Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Master's in Social Work.

Troy Outpatient

• Provides evidence based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team.
• Also provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed.
• Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.

Education/Experience Required

• Master's (or Doctoral) degree in clinical or counseling psychology with one year supervised post masters experience; OR Master's degree in Social Work with two years post Master's experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting.
• CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Licensed Psychologist; OR Limited Licensed Psychologist; OR Licensed Master's in Social Work.
