You will maintain breeding and census records, perform approved procedures after training, and ensure data accuracy while adhering to animal-care, lab safety, and compliance requirements.

This full-time position offers exposure to aging and HIV research focused on executive-function impairments.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with animal handling, behavioral testing, colony recordkeeping, tissue collection or processing, histology or immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and IACUC-regulated research.
• Knowledge of animal-care, research-safety, and IACUC-compliance principles; ability to follow approved protocols and maintain accurate records; communicate findings and consult a supervisor.

Aufgaben

• Conduct animal-research, behavioral-neuroscience, colony-management, and neuroanatomical procedures.
• Maintain breeding, census, genotype, and experimental-assignment records.
• Perform approved behavioral and tissue procedures after training.
• Maintain accurate data and follow animal-care, laboratory safety, and compliance requirements.
• Work under general supervision of the Principal Investigator.
