Job summary

The Regional Office Of Education #9 Champaign - Ford Counties seeks a Behavioral MTSS Clinical Professional to lead and support behavioral and social-emotional programs for PreK-8 students. You will coach staff, implement MTSS-based interventions, collect data, and provide crisis-response support within a restorative framework.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois license as social worker or counselor is required.
• Experience with students with social, emotional, behavioral, or trauma-related needs in education.
• Demonstrated leadership via MTSS/problem-solving teams or related school improvement work.
• Knowledge of MTSS for behavior and restorative practices.
• Willingness to travel between schools and participate in crisis prevention and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conducts behavioral observations and collects/analyses behavioral data for intervention planning.
• Develops and monitors Behavioral Intervention Plans aligned with MTSS and IEP requirements.
• Plans and implements BIPs based on student needs and data.
• Provides crisis response, behavioral risk assessment, and safety planning as needed.
• Coaches staff, provides professional development on positive behavioral supports and classroom management.
• Collaborates with families, teachers, school psychologists, counselors, and related service providers.
