La Clinica de Familia in Southern New Mexico is seeking a Behavioral Management Specialist (Non-Exempt) to provide direct services to clients on their caseload and to refer clients to appropriate services. The position reports to the LCDF team and offers comprehensive benefits.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, with a focus on confidentiality and fostering a respectful, supportive environment for individuals and families served.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years or older per Program Regulations.
High school diploma or G.E.D and one or more of the following: (a) Two years’ experience with clients/adolescents with severe psychological/emotional disturbances/neurobiological disorders; or (b) Two years of post-secondary education in a human service related field; or (c) 40 hours of documented training (20 hours pre-service + 20 hours within 90 days)

Job Summary

The Behavioral Management Specialist is responsible providing direct services to those individuals on their case load. In addition, behavior management specialist is responsible for referring clients to appropriate services.
