Job summary

White Earth Nation is seeking a Transportation Aide to provide safe and reliable transport for clients across White Earth Behavioral Health programs and services. The role supports continuity of care by ensuring timely access to transportation while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and successful background and DOT screenings. It is a full-time on-site role with benefits and pays $19.45 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of current insurance for travel.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must pass background checks (DHS/SSIS/STS) prior to hire.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.
• Defensive Driving Certificate within 6 months of hire.
• DOT Physical Examination required for eligibility to operate agency vehicles.
• Compliance with transportation policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation for Behavioral Health clients and families.
• Ensure clients arrive on time to appointments and activities.
• Make driving decisions based on road and weather conditions.
• Respond to emergencies and notify supervisor.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients.
• Complete transportation logs daily for all trips.
