Job summary

White Mountain Apache Behavioral Health Services, Inc. is seeking an Integrated Health Transportation Driver to provide safe, reliable transport for clients to behavioral health appointments on the Fort Apache Reservation and in Whiteriver, Arizona.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Arizona driver license, the ability to operate and maintain agency vehicles, and adherence to HIPAA and ABHS policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Arizona Driver License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to assist clients and lift, load, unload, and secure wheelchairs or equipment.
• Ability to work professionally with confidentiality and boundaries.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and transportation documentation systems.
• Must complete all required pre-employment requirements including fingerprint clearance and background check.
• Ability to communicate in the Apache language is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for clients to appointments and other locations.
• Coordinate transportation needs with Integrated Health staff.
• Complete AHCCCS Daily Trip Report forms with required info.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Operate agency vehicles in compliance with laws and ABHS policies.
• Maintain client safety and respond to safety concerns.
• Notify staff of no-shows, delays, and transportation issues.
• Assist with dialysis patient transport when needed.
• Adhere to ABHS, tribal authorities, and regulatory policies.
• Maintain client records per HIPAA and related requirements.
• Attend mandatory training and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
