Job summary

Provident Healthcare Consulting is seeking a Transportation/BHT Specialist in Indiana to provide direct supervision and transport services for clients in behavioral health and substance use treatment programs. The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and collaboration with clinical teams, with a shift from 4:30pm to Midnight.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable and able to maintain professional boundaries with clients facing challenges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, residential care, healthcare, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation, supervision and support per program policies.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, therapeutic environment for clients and staff.
• Monitor client behavior and report significant changes to clinical staff.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, counseling and other activities.
• Operate vehicles safely and follow traffic laws and policies.
• Complete vehicle inspections and report safety concerns.
• Maintain transportation logs, mileage and attendance records.
• Assist clients with entering/exiting vehicles and maintaining dignity.
• Communicate with clinical, medical and administrative teams.
