Altarum Institute invites qualified candidates for an entry-level Associate Behavioral Health Training Specialist role on the training and technical assistance team. You will grow under senior staff, delivering trainings to behavioral health providers and helping them understand SSI/SSDI processes.

The position emphasizes building expertise in disability benefits, collaboration, and continuous improvement, with remote work and periodic in-person days. Travel is limited to less than 10%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in behavioral health recovery supports or related social services (internship/practicum considered).
• Interest in training, coaching, or technical assistance delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate trainings for clinical and non-clinical staff; co-facilitate with senior staff.
• Build foundational SSI/SSDI knowledge and assist with reporting/documentation tasks.
• Support stakeholder engagement and preparation of materials for partners.
