Job summary

The Supervisor of Behavioral Health therapy at The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia oversees quality and process improvements for Behavioral Health in outpatient and community settings. You will coordinate with managers to redesign workflows, improve timeliness, and drive collaboration across services.

Responsibilities include directing allied health teams responsible for authorization of services, utilization review, and therapy delivery, ensuring high standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree required.
• Graduate Degree required - Masters, PsyD or PhD.
• Minimum of 4 years of human-service related experience required.
• LPC or LCSW required.
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous quality and process improvement initiatives for Behavioral Health.
• Redesign processes and practices to improve timeliness and operational efficiency.
• Direct allied health professional teams that provide authorization of services, utilization review, and therapy services for Behavioral Health patients in Outpatient and Community based services.
