Job summary

UPMC Chautauqua seeks a Supervisor of Behavioral Health Therapy to provide clinical and administrative leadership for our behavioral health therapy services within the Residential Addiction Medicine Services program. You will oversee daily clinical operations, supervise therapy staff, support patient care planning, and ensure continuity, quality, and safety of services in collaboration with leadership.

The role involves staff training, performance reviews, QA participation, and coordinating care

Qualifications

• Current CASAC Advanced credential is required or preferred.
• Experience leading behavioral health therapy teams.
• Ability to coordinate care across levels of treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assess need for additional services with the clinical team and refer to appropriate levels of care.
• Lead staff in-service training and system-wide education initiatives.
• Collaborate on annual training needs assessments with leadership.
• Alert management and review cases with the director on a regular basis.
• Direct and supervise daily work of therapists and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Provide supervision, treatment plans, individual and group therapy, and timely documentation.
• Support recruitment, admissions flow, and regular treatment team meetings.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Lead the program in the Director's absence to ensure patient safety and service continuity.
