University of Virginia Community Health is seeking a Therapist I to provide patient assessments, plan interventions, and coordinate the treatment process under supervision. The role emphasizes age-appropriate behavioral health services and adherence to UVA Health system standards.

This PRN, non-exempt position requires a graduate degree (MSW, psychology, counseling or related) and licensure-track status, with 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required.
• 1 year of experience preferred (including internships or pre-doctorate residencies).
• Licensure: Supervisee in Social Work, Resident in Counseling or Psychology Resident. Requires registration in VA prior to supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete patient assessments and plan therapeutic interventions.
• Coordinate treatment process and discharge planning under supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Implement treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care.
