Job summary

The YMCA Behavioral Health Manager will lead the Mental Wellness Program across three Greater Cleveland branches by expanding the clinical practices and delivering behavioral health services to youth, families, singles and older adults.

You will conduct engagement activities with YMCA members, form and facilitate support and treatment groups, provide individual counseling, and coordinate short-term case management and referrals.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required.
• Licensed in LISW, LPCC or LICDC.
• At least 4 years of Behavioral Health Counseling experience.
• Experience facilitating Behavioral Health group counseling.
• Knowledge of Substance Use and Mental Health disorders affecting diverse groups.
• Experience creating behavioral health programming (groups, education, etc.).
• Proven ability to meet minimum productivity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling to YMCA members and neighborhood residents.
• Form and facilitate support and treatment groups on behavioral health topics.
• Conduct engagement activities inviting participation in workshops and groups.
• Provide short-term case management, information and referral.
• Develop collaborations with local behavioral health providers.
• Organize preventive and educational behavioral health programming.
• Participate in hiring and supervision of program staff as the program grows.
