Job summary

NorthLakes Community Clinic in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals or groups using evidence-based counseling approaches. The role supports recovery-oriented services within a multidisciplinary team and may involve telehealth options per state guidelines.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy across various modalities, and coordinate care with medical teams and community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus a Master Degree in counseling required.
• LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or In-Training licenses (LPC-IT, LMFT-IT, and APSW) required in Wisconsin.
• Specific training/certifications may be required for certain types of therapy/assessment.
• Employees will not work outside of their scope of education and training.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Record Systems and Word Processing software.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, discharge planning, and consultation.
• Interview clients, review records, and collaborate with other professionals to gather information relevant to treatment.
• Work with people presenting with psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations.
• Conduct therapy sessions in individual, family, couples, or group settings.
• Discuss progress toward mutually established therapeutic goals with patients and adapt treatment as needed.
• Plan and administer telehealth therapy as indicated by patient needs.
