Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is expanding with a new location opening in Norfolk, VA, and inviting qualified BHTs to join all shifts. You will help manage daily residential operations, supervise and train the BHT team, and respond to crises in collaboration with leadership.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and a commitment to recovery principles. Join a supportive program focused on healthy recovery environments and staff growth.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver’s license and CPR certification preferred.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications, etc.).
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.

What You'll Do
