Job summary

ABA Support Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist in Bethlehem, PA. The role focuses on data collection, analysis, and support for behavioral programs across client sessions.

Responsibilities include data maintenance, progress notes, and assisting with training for staff and parents. The candidate will also assume lead therapist duties in their absence and participate in supervised sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 60 college credits or higher; bachelor or master in related field preferred.
• CPR, seizure training, child abuse reporting, crisis management, RBT certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist with graphs, summaries and data calculations.
• Write progress notes and program updates; create session materials.
• Support baseline, treatment, parent training and generalization sessions.
• Set up and clean up session activities; maintain program books.
• Assist with protocol dissemination, reviews, and staff/parent training.
• Follow safe handling procedures when transporting or working with clients.
• Provide direct client care per behavioral protocols; may be one-on-one or in groups.
• Shadow, co-treat, or treat 2–4 contact hours weekly.
• Report parent concerns to the lead therapist.
