Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Behavioral Health Technician Manager to oversee supervision of Behavioral Health Technicians and Recovery Support Specialist staff within residential facilities. You will coordinate training, scheduling, and staff evaluations, while ensuring high-quality patient care and strict confidentiality.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in behavioral sciences (or CRC/CPRS/LADAC preferred) with at least three years in addiction or mental health settings and one year of supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or C.R.C. certification preferred.
• Three years’ experience in addiction or mental healthcare agency required.
• One year’s supervisory experience required.
• Verbal or written communication skills required.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and coordinate training for Behavioral Health Technicians and Recovery Support Specialist staff.
• Maintain work schedule to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts.
• Edit time reports and ensure accuracy of reported hours.
• Generate work schedules ensuring all shifts are adequately covered.
• Assist with hiring of support staff with HR involvement.
• Coordinate training for staff and conduct periodic meetings.
• Prepare and conduct evaluations with staff with HR approvals.
• Assist with de-escalation of patients and document all direct care in medical records.
• Coordinate communication between staff and clinical/medical teams.
• Maintain professional demeanor and ensure a safe, cooperative work environment.
