Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Denver is seeking a shift supervisor for the first shift (7am-3pm) to support admissions, transportation, meals, and supervision of staff. You will engage clients, enforce safety policies, and handle shift documentation and meetings.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and at least one year of sobriety if in recovery. Strong interpersonal skills and empathy are essential for success.

• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality.
• Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
• Record and escalate any critical communication/incidents in a timely manner
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
• Oversee all BHTs on your shift and provide training and support
