Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a shift supervisor for first shift (7am-3pm) to support clinical and operations teams in our Denver location.

You will supervise staff, coordinate admissions and transport, and help create a compassionate, structured recovery environment for clients while maintaining safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality.
• Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams.
• Engage and build rapport with clients in a welcoming recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce policies to ensure safety of clients and staff.
• Record and report any critical communications/incidents promptly.
• Fulfill administrative duties: shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office work.
• Oversee BHTs on shift and provide training and support.

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
• Record and escape any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
• Oversee all BHTs on your shift and provide training and support
