Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Cambridge, Maryland, is seeking compassionate support staff to engage with clients in a warm recovery environment. Your role includes operational support for medical and clinical teams, ensuring safety, and overseeing support staff.

Candidates are preferred to have a high school diploma or GED and should possess strong interpersonal skills. A special focus on compassion and empathy, along with a dignified character that models recovery principles, is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
• Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
• Oversee all BHTs on your shift and provide training and support

What We're Looking For

Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is a 100-bed residential facility which offers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services. Our expansive building is newly renovated, modern and appealing, offering an array of amenities and a true hotel-like experience.
