Job summary

Wise Path Recovery Centers in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients across the continuum of care in a structured, recovery-oriented environment. You will assist with daily living activities, group facilitation, and documentation while collaborating with clinical teams.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, 21+ years old, a valid driver’s license if transporting clients, and CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (if transporting clients).
• Ability to pass background and motor vehicle checks.
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field (preferred).
• 1+ year experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or residential care (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living activities, routines, and scheduled programming.
• Provide orientation to new clients and explain program structure.
• Encourage participation in recovery programming and communicate observations to the care team.
• Assist with or co-facilitate groups under clinical supervision.
• Monitor client safety and adherence to program expectations.
• Conduct vital signs, drug screens, and breathalyzer testing per protocol.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and assist with front desk tasks.
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities when required.
