Job summary

Bradford Health Services in Biloxi, MS is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician PRN to support mental health patients under clinical supervision. The role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and managing crisis situations to ensure safety and progress.

You will maintain accurate documentation, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and assist with discharge planning to promote successful transitions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; BH Technician training or certification preferred.
• Experience with clinical documentation and patient care in a mental health setting.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and ability to respond to emergencies.
• Familiarity with mental health disorders including SED and related treatment approaches.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clinical assessments and monitor patient behavior to identify needs and progress.
• Provide direct patient care and support, including crisis intervention during acute episodes.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation, including progress notes and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Support patients with SED by applying therapeutic techniques and ensuring safety.
