Job summary

Bradford Health Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support patients with mental health needs within a behavioral health setting. You will assist with clinical assessments, implement individualized treatment plans, monitor behavior, and help ensure a safe therapeutic environment under clinician supervision.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, crisis intervention, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience or training in behavioral health settings.
• Ability to maintain detailed clinical documentation and crisis intervention knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients with mental health needs including those with SED.
• Assist clinicians in assessments and implementing discharge plans.
• Monitor patient behavior and intervene during crises to ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in meetings.
