Job summary

Harmony Health Group is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support the Facility Director and treatment teams in coordinating daily operations and patient care. The role includes assisting with intake procedures, rounds, safety checks, medication observation, and transportation as needed, with adherence to state and federal regulations.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of five years driving experience with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years driving experience with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience in chemical dependency/substance abuse/psychiatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of patients in daily activities.
• Ensure patients follow the clinical schedule and communicate issues to the treatment team.
• Transport clients when applicable, with valid driver's license.
• Conduct vehicle and client safety checks before transport.
• Observe and document medications during scheduled times.
• Report suspected abuse, neglect, trauma, or safety issues to supervisor.
• Maintain a safe environment and assist with admissions/discharges.
• Participate in trainings and maintain flexibility for changes in work.
